Patricio

Patricio Ramírez Llorens is a biologist specializing in conservation biology, biodiversity studies, bioacoustics, and a certified naturalist. He began guiding birdwatchers in 1993 in the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve and the surrounding areas of Buenos Aires.

For over 30 years as a birdwatching guide, he has led tours in Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
He has resided in Puerto Iguazú since 2004, where he lives with his partner, Karina, and his 11-year-old son, Uriel.

He is an authorized guide in Iguazu National Park and co-founder of the Iguazu Birdwatching Club, a local group of the Argentine Ornithological Association. Patricio has taught numerous birdwatching courses for beginners, published numerous scientific articles, co-authored two books, and discovered two bird species new to Argentina.
