Recomendable 100 %.

As a solo female traveller, I look for a bird guide who I can feel safe traveling with first and foremost. I found Diego and Gonzalo on time as promised meeting me for a day of birding while I was in port. Their vehicles were well kept. They came equipped with binoculars and scopes. Of course going on an independent excursion from the cruise ship is risky because you need to be back in time before the all aboard time. The company picked a location(s) that was close to the ship and was a real gem of a birding site. I returned to the ship in plenty of time.
The price was standard for individual bird guiding cost.
I found the guides not only knowledgeable, but also patient as we waiting or the time it took for me to find the bird.
Everyone has a different idea of what birdwatching means to them. Having a discussion beforehand of your expectations goes a long way to having a successful day. My preference is to photograph as many birds as possible. While I am busy doing that, the guides kept the ebird list which they shared with me afterwards. Since it was my first time specifically birding in Uruguay and Argentina, my wishlist was to see and photo as many “lifers” as possible. The days were successful.
Having a cooler with cold water is a nice add on in the car as carrying a water bottle is cumbersome.
Thanks for 2 wonderful days! Regards.
