The Iberá Wetlands are an extensive wetland that covers between 15,000 and 25,000 km² in the province of Corrientes, in the northeast of the Argentine Republic. Only surpassed in extension by the Pantanal (Brazilian, Bolivian and Paraguayan) with which they form the second largest wetland in the world.

The approximate center of this system is located in Carlos Pellegrini, where we will base.

Thanks to its peculiar geography and difficult access, the area has a rich and varied animal population.
