The province of Buenos Aires is a point of concentration of migrant birds in all seasons, but winter is perhaps the opportunity we have to observe some species that escape the harsh Patagonian winter and come to our pampas to enjoy their "summer" is so we can observe species of great ornithological value.

Pick you up in Buenos Aires and departure

 

We will start our excursion from some point to be agreed in the City of Buenos Aires, we can also combine to find it at your hotel or airport ... You can also join this excursion in your own vehicle.

Arrival in the wintering area

 

After a pleasant trip we will arrive at the wintering area of ​​several species that visit us from Patagonia, surely we can contemplate the sunrise from the road, once we arrive we will prepare the equipment for the adventure.

Birdwatching

 

We are going to travel through several rural roads and private fields where we have recent records of some migrant species. These species visit us in the area for only two months, which is why this guide is restricted to a fairly limited fraction of the year.

Lunch

 

We will share lunch in a restaurant in the town of Punta Indio, lunch is a la carte and the restaurant is located within the Parque Costero Sur and has multiple options even for vegans and celiacs.

Birdwatching at PCS

 

In the afternoon we will continue with birdwatching in the Parque Costero Sur, a UNESCO Biosphere reserve that has in its list of species some endemisms and very interesting species such Black Crake we are going to visit some floodplains, the Buenos Aires logging (key environment in this site) and the coast of the Rio de la Plata.

Return and end of the tour

 

At 8:00 p.m. we will begin the return by the R11 that crosses the entire Parque Costero Sur up to Buenos Aires at 9:00 p.m.
