Punta Rasa and Pelagic in Mar del Plata

This tour is very special for us, the objective is to combine and complement both days.

On the first day we will visit the Punta Rasa Provincial Reserve, a place where we will privilege the observation of coastal birds…. These little birds show that nothing is impossible when they return thousands of kilometers from the Arctic to South America making only strategic stops to "refuel"

The second part of the tour will be in Mar del Plata where we are going to embark 45 nautical miles out to sea to meet in addition to Gulls, Paiños, Shearwaters and Terns to the great colossi of the Argentine sea: Petrels, Albatross, Skuas and Salteadores!

Why not have the chance to see Penguins and with a bit of luck some large marine mammal.

 

ATTENTION: There is the possibility of taking the complete tour or just purchasing the access ticket to the boat for the pelagic.

Day 1 - 6:00Hs
Pick you up in Buenos Aires and departure

 

We will start our excursion from a point to be agreed in the City of Buenos Aires, in the event that you do not reside in the City it is feasible to coordinate a meeting point close to our route, you can also join this excursion in your own vehicle.

Day 1 - 9:00Hs
Birdwatching at Punta Rasa

 

After an enjoyable trip we will arrive at Punta Rasa, this provincial reserve protects a key point in the country for the protection of all our shorebirds, we will enjoy a full day and we will look for species of great ornithological value

Day 1 - 21:00Hs
Dinner and night in Mar del Plata

 

At the end of the observation day, we will move to the city of Mar del Plata, two hours away by land, where we will have dinner and stay in a comfortable hotel on a double base.

Day 2 - 6:00Hs
Pelagic in the Argentine Sea

 

We will transfer to the Port of Mar del Plata where we will embark on a comfortable boat to live an unusual and exciting experience! Observing birds in the sea is something that you should never miss as we can meet species such as the White-crowned Albatross, the Royal Albatross, Shearwaters, Petrels, Paiños and many more! We will return to the port around 5:00 PM to end the excursion.

Day 2 - 17:30Hs
End of the tour and return to Buenos Aires

 

We will begin our return to Buenos Aires where we estimate that we will arrive at the same starting point at 10:30 PM.
