This ecosystem is distinctly different, with a dense bamboo understory favored by several bird species commonly seen in Iguazu or any of the other lowland forests. The forest along the Uruzú River is excellent for birds such as the Black-fronted Piping Guan, the Riverbank Warbler, and the Sharp-tailed Streamcreeper.

We can reach this reserve by a paved road in excellent condition, which makes it the perfect place to visit even on rainy days or difficult forecasts.

Day 1 - 7:00 Hs
Meeting in Puerto Iguazu and departure

We will coordinate our meeting at some point in the city of Puerto Iguazú to begin our short journey to the Urugua-I Provincial Park, we will pass through the city of Wanda, which will be our last point with telephone service and gas stations.

Day 1 - 9:00 Hs
Arrival at Urugua-I Provincial Park

Arrival at the park and presentation of the park rangers, we will begin our walk along a wide and comfortable path to walk that borders the Uruzú stream, it is a circular path through which we will return to the same starting point after about four hours of walking and bird watching in fantastic environments.

Day 1 - 13:30 Hs
Lunch

We will share lunch in the Box Lunch modality because the area does not have restaurants.

Day 1 - 14:30 Hs
Birdwatching on Road 19

After lunch we will border Provincial Route 19 in search of some more common birds in open areas since when we leave the jungle we will be able to observe the open sky and with a little luck observe birds of prey, in this area we have a good chance of seeing, for example, an Ornate Hawk-eagle.

At 5:00 p.m. we will begin the return to arrive in Puerto Iguazú again at 7:30 p.m.
