Punta Rasa is a favorite destination for birdwatchers, and it seems to be just as popular with migratory birds, as it's a mandatory stop for all species migrating along the Atlantic coast. We'll be there to observe these incredible travelers who journey thousands of kilometers each year.
It is located at the southern end of Samborombón Bay; the geographical characteristics of the region and its large concentrations of migratory birds led to it being declared a natural reserve along with Samborombón Bay and added to the list of Wetlands of International Importance in 1997.

I had a great day of birding with Diego Oscar recently. I had specific targets that I sent to him and he focused on those species as I requested. We found most of them and had great views. Diego was prompt at communicating with me, clear about setting expectations and delivered exactly what was discussed. He is a great guy, easy to get along with and an excellent birder. I highly recommend him and Sandpiper Birding.
